Saw Bob Bennett in concert last night, and it was phenomenal. And we were all blessed to see and hear him. Bob's musicianship is off-the-charts excellent. His guitar is exquisite, masterful and fully orchestrated - just one guitar - and he somehow draws out a wall of sound from it. It could be said that Bob has the best voice in the genre, and last night his deep, magnificent vocals over-flowed the entire venue. Bob must be commended for taking such good care of his voice, being in the genre since '77, certainly last night's performance equalled his 70s and 80s recordings. Bob so graciously paid homage to great singer-songwriters that influenced him, a long list including Jackson Browne and Gordon Lightfoot (music he was raised on prior to the time The Lord took hold of his heart). I don't think Bob knows it, but he is better than them all. Each particular element of his "Singer-Songwriter" style is simply perfect, so far-reaching, so captivating. And man-oh-man he is one of the friendliest individuals I have crossed paths with. After they opened the doors a half hour before it started, Bob was sitting at a table near concessions and talking to every single person who came by, a typically good-hearted Christian brother to us all. I give a slam-dunk strongest possible recommendation for anyone and everyone to see Bob in concert if you are able. God is SOOO good to enable such talent in people. You owe it to yourself to get to a Bob Bennett concert.

He is so engaging and so easily connected with his audience too. He had such an excellent dialogue with us all last night. We felt like he was our best friend. Indeed his lyrics key into ministry, healing and the joy of The Lord. The move of The Holy Spirit seemed full, too, in which when quality starts to be measured, you find it's beyond measure.
