I watched Bob on The Voice and was gutted he didn't get through. I was watching BBC Breakfast News on the day Mike Batt offered his hand of mentorship and was blubbing along with Bob. Today I saw him on there again with a snippet of this video and a short interview and I am just now SO happy he didn't get through on The Voice. He is in the best of hands with Mike Batt. I have pre ordered my copy of his album which is released on Monday, and one for my 18 year old daughter as she is a huge fan of his too. Go Bob! You have a voice that just screams "Bond Theme" at me with its richness and range. Fairytale come true.

That was the most wonderful thing about him, his humility, no sour grapes. His voice is SO strong, pure and rich, as a Frank Sinatra fan, I think he stands up with the greats and I don't watch the voice but saw that interview and blubbed too, I was SO glad when Mike Batt popped in and gave him that opertunity too! I hope his album rockets to number one and Tom has to admit he made a huge booboo (not that THAT will happen!

I don't know, Tom Jones can be quite gracious in defeat - would love to hear them sing together actually as Bob would be one of very few people able to hold their own against Tom's voice. At the end of the day, it was completely their loss and Bob's gain. To see his wife with tears of pride set me off again when I watched it! He deserves for his album to go to #1 in the album charts and I hope that it does. He needs a Wiki page too, as I am sure that lots of people will be very interested about him when the album comes out.

I think he did him a huge favour by not turning round. The Voice usually looks for somebody a bit younger and commercial, but Bob has won hands down by getting taken on by Mike Batt. He is on a great record label with a fantastic team behind him now. I don't think he would have got that on The Voice. I watched every episode and for the life of me can't remember who won. There was a girl the year before who didn't get through and I would love to know what she is up to now. She sang in both English and Welsh whilst accompanying herself on the piano (I think she sang Fields of Gold). She was amazing. I am just looking forwards to Monday now for the album to drop - think it is going to be amazing.
