I was so disappointed to find out ace Frehley in fact was not my guitar influence, It was Bob and Dick Wagner. Never the less, Rip Bob and thx for putting the sound in my head. Bruce, Thx for making Kiss worth seeing a few more times. Your contribution was un matched.

@Mark-um5hc3 жыл бұрын
This is the first time I have ever seen Bob play guitar. However, it's not the first time I've heard him. This guy has played in the studio with Kiss. More then once, from my understanding. Him and Bruce are very blessed with their talent. Bruce... I'm very sorry to hear about your brother. I can relate to this, on a personal level. May God continue to bless you and your family. Please keep on doing what you do. -Mark

PURE UNADULTERATED ROCK! What a treat to hear stuff like this, in a day and age when pop/rock music has deteriorated to the state it is! Long live the 60's through 80's!
@AudiophileTubes8 жыл бұрын
+Garegh62 Picky... picky... PICKY! Simmons or not, there is some good chord structure and lead in these songs. Your opinion is as good (or bad) as anyone's really, and it all boils down to preference. But yes, their cheesy 80's stuff was pretty bad. As was Elton's or Billy Joel's too! Lots of bands did not age well.

as great as both of those two tunes are, and I love them the most on side 4 of alive 2, but the solo that Ace did on Rocket Ride showed why Kiss picked Ace Over Bob. But Bob and Bruce are both great players. R.I.P. Bob, this maybe an old video, but I'll be back to watch it again. thanks for uploading this. Peace

Bob Kulick is a splitting image of Tony Levin! Tony is the reknowned bass player for Peter Gabriel and King Crimson among other acts. Google him, you'll laugh.

I feel positive that the fact of Bob's early hair loss costs him work in an era where image was a big deal... Possibly why he was overlooked as a guitarist as Kiss...He was Talented,but dated as a guitarist who basically rode the coattails of Kiss.

I don't blame him. If given the opportunity. You would to.

Why do “serious” bass players use all those weird basses with active electronics? I worked at a guitar store for years, and I can assure you nothing is as great as an American-made Fender, Gibson, or Rickenbacker. They are some other cool basses out there for niche things, but nothing is better for rock music than one of the classics.

Bob is an ego - maniac , the only reason he didn't make it was his & genes egos couldn't fit in the same room. Don't get me wrong he is a great player, but Ace was the right fit... And Bruce is better!
