Lennon was a believer. He is not the atheistic idol you made out of him. He was nobody's idol. I was the walrus, but now I'm john. His song God is no atheist statement, so it isn't Imagine. He just wanted to simplify the world and therefore he was the dreamer (and not the realist, like atheists proclaim themselves to be).

simon montanaro this is something too long to write, I just know he was not christian, he had a religion but not the christian one... he had the influence from indian religion, he many time prayed vishnu krishna and god like them... for sure he had not the same concept as you of god
