I bought this album the week it came out... I played it every day numerous times for months. I just couldn't put it down. It played a big part in my Faith and Love for Jesus Christ... It was like my Bible before I knew the Bible. I found out years later just how much of the Bible is in this Album. God takes his time with us. He is a Patient Loving Forgiving Merciful God.

As far as his brand of Christianity goes I can only say that the truth is often offensive, especially to the non-believer and it wounds a man's pride, (Bob points this out in more than a few songs) Jesus greatly offended the religious leaders of his day and was crucified, he is no milk-toast, squishy savior but Lord of all and all will answer to him come judgement day!

Dylan caught a lot of flak for this record. People could not understand why he would release an overtly spiritual based statement at this point in his life. Really? It’s all about spirituality, everything in life. if you ain’t got it, you’re in trouble, folks. Love is the answer. And Bob has known that for a long, long time. This is one of his very best albums, and Mark Knopfler’s touch is the icing on this cake.

But anway, i liked teese songs. at this tme i was hard addiccted in heroin, kokain.....since seven yers an the dead knockked very loud on my door. then Jesus came and saved me in one day from all this drugs without cold turkey., by a big miracle . I knelt before him and i knew instantly HE IS THE SON OF GOD! I confessed m sins and he forgiave me:. today i am70 ears, the wild an dangerous time with drugs andpolice an jail and my escape to asia was over.. Icame back to europe, where i served the Lord Jesus in a drug Rehab. Ihave 4 Childrens, i am married since 37 years. now i am retired, but when i hear this song i rememeber the time in Goa, Tthe Lord may bless you! He is waitig for all of you!

I've been a huge Bob Dylan fan since I was 10 years old. I've heard every song and since September 17th, 1987 I've been to every concert in Berlin. Unforgettable the concert on the Treptower Festwiese. I have a secretly pressed Vernyl record of it. There are only 300 of them. The Song "Precious Angel" one of my absolute favorite songs. This album was so beautifully a part of my day to day living. I was also able to see Bob play in concert this song and others and listening there in San Diego in the early 80's wanted to find a way to share it with every one I could think of . It was so dimensional and holy. I was already a Christian and it gave a lot of sturdy scaffolding to my fatigue. God Bless You Bob Dylan.
