It's quite amazing that dyl an forged his own path with no money or finicil backing and records his first album at 19 and has been incredibly productive for 60 years, writing songs of absolute brilliance., culminating in the Nobel prize. @@tomnoodles8768 It's called the folk process, you borrow from or reorganize a whole song into something new, been done since someone figured out how to write a song. Lots of the old blues musicians did the same thing. Robert Johnson's Dust My Broom uses the melody from an older song and then Elmore James later borrowed some of the words and music for a brand new song. Dylan didn't create the process but he did it better than anyone
