Im on Olu’s side. She was the one responsible to letting Bob in and starting the wedding, plus she’s the friendliest of family members.

I’ll admit that I lean more towards Olu. It’s because she isn’t Abishola’s biological mother that her affection (however grumpy it is sometimes) and protectiveness shine all the brighter. I’m lucky to have two parents who are present, caring and involved in my ups and downs, but not everyone has that.

Every episode hilarious as the next. Kemi is my favorite character. Her honesty is just refreshing. Love love their colourful fashion.

I'm not sure if this show would've worked in the UK. I saw some British shows (Chef, Desmond's Eastenders) that featured interracial relationships, and it didn't seem unusual there. I could be wrong though.

I don't think it's simply interracial relationships. That has appeared in the US before (like in The Jeffersons). For me it was two different cultures, more like Ice Cream for Breakfast.

Her mom has a point about twenty years and it was low of Olu to speak about her milk production it did not have to be a fight. Abisholas mother is so self obsessed we could confront that instead but she is right about what she said this time:
