Even though I was little, I remember these broadcasts and we watched everything that came on TV with Bob Hope -- back when we had 3 channels, read the TV listings in the newspaper, eventually subscribed to TV Guide (yes on actual paper). Amazing to think these broadcasts are from 6 decades ago.

I am glad that Bob visit on Jan.19,1966.21days late, At offensce began on 2/1/1966. Bob Hope is real American. I was veteran and served in Vietnam when IMs a young man at21.

Wow, I really enjoyed this Bob Hope special. There’s a lot of history in here in the early years of the Vietnam War. I hope people can see relatives in the audience, because some of these men were probably killed in battle. I hope men see their friends in clips and think about their time in the service. I wonder what happened to the nurse in the segment where the guy was singing to her. She looks like she was in her early twenties and if she's still alive must be a grandmother in her lates 70s,early 80s. Anyway ,I enjoyed the soldiers having a good time with Bob Hope.
