@@redshirtacademymortuary4848 It was a standard home brew kingdom with a bunch of mysteries. Everything appeared happy and joyful when in fact the opposite was true. Nothing was as it appeared- the streets were fake, the businesses were fake, the people were all under a spell or influence of some kind that altered their perceptions. The flowers were made of paper and had no smell. Think Brave New World meets Pee Wee's Playhouse and you are halfway there.

That's nice ALTERNATE reality. Once Disney sold out to Hollywood in 1984, that was the beginning of the end. For all the talk of Disney being "EVERYWHERE in the stratosphere," that really wasn't true until the 1990s. I think after Disney bought out ABC -- which is VERY weird since ABC is older and USED to be bigger than Disney!!! --, that's when we saw the start of things and the conspiracy theories about control and censorship from the Mouse were not so crazy. It used to be a nice company... and you "sort of" could trust them. Not anymore -- that's for sure! More people should read Iger's autobiography. It's very illuminating and shows exactly Disney is the way it is now.
