I like it when the waterproof goes up the edges of a tent. Nice little tent. When they tell you it's two people it's only if those people are 4 foot tall and 85 pounds and they can't have any stuff.

I have been carrying a tent around in my RV for six years now and never put it up once lol. I always figured it was my safety net in case something happened and I needed emergency accommodations. However I do plan on eventually doing some tent camping again someday. You may want to buy a cot if you have it already sleeping on the ground is wicked lol. I would say Olive loves it. 👍🏻❤️🤩🐾🤗

Such a cute video Jimmy! 20 minutes isn't bad at all for something you haven't done before. It takes me longer to do stuff too, because I read the heck out of the directions every step of the way. Rule of thumb: you have to allow the space equivalent to one person for luggage. A 4 person tent would be space for 2 people plus luggage.

What a nice sized tent for just you & sweet Olive. That "rain fly" will help ward off the intense Arizona sun, making it a shade shelter. Car campers & nomads set up tents sometimes next to their vehicles as decoys, while sleeping in their car at night. And ya, they're also a good way to hold a camp spot when you have to leave. Tents this size don't take up much room in a rig, so ya they're handy to pack along. I have one in my SUV camp car. I stayed at a nature reserve in Tx. Which only had tent camping I have a camper van so I set my tent up and put my camping chair in it at night and slept in my van. Safe camping🤗💕

I would add a canvas-type tarp for the floor interior to protect it from doggie toenails. If not hauling your grass mat, another tarp for under the tent floor to help protect it from rocks. A cot for you and one of those raised beds for Olive--a dog cot? You would need to use it several times to decide if you want to fuss with anything else. :) BTW, love your new-to-you RV! Watched the tour video, but do not recall if I commented. As with any home, you'll get everything set up and organized just the way you want it--then you'll either need or want to make changes! LOL Miss Olive is thriving! Her energy would overwhelm me, but the two of you are perfectly matched. She keeps you going, even if you have a bad day, but is attuned to your needs, as you are to hers! :-) ...Teale 🏜️

A trial set up is a great idea and 2 0 min wasn't bad. I am like the Princess and the Pea..I'm not sure I would be happy sleeping on a rocky or gravel surface. Take a minny broom to sweep the ground, or a thick, thick sleeping bag. . Thanks for sharing.

The tent is more like one person and a cat but it does look like it would be reasonably comfortable. I think it would be useless in a thunderstorm. Olive seems to be OK with it. Good video. Take care of yourself and Olive.

The only thing I would change is getting longer better tent pegs for the higher winds . I usually use the heavy plastic yellow v grooved tent pegs from Walmart and if I am near sand I use the longer metal ones .

It’s a nice tent and I think Olive likes it and maybe wanting her bed in there to sit on. She may think the bottom floor is kind of funny to her. Should be an added part of your adventure. Olive sure does love her travels and adventures and so much fun with all of her doggie friends. It was nice that Moo Moo and Ausia came to visit.

🏕 I used to do quite a bit of tent camping. Still have a much larger tent packed away in my car as a backup should rv have mechanical issues or just want a quick getaway option. Your tent would be convenient for stashing items from car. Also handy for a portable 🚽 or bathing area. I’d suggest placing a heavy duty tarp on ground then pitch tent over it. Also place another tarp inside so as to protect against dog nail punctures. Make sure to give it all a good spray down with water repellent so as to keep everything inside dry should a sudden unexpected storm blow through. Maybe bring along an old quilt to be used as a 🐶 bed. I do have a battery powered queen size mattress, sheets, pillow and comforter for myself. Tent camping has always been so relaxing for me except during extremely heavy rainstorms. One summer in Oregon I made sure to dig a rain trench around my tent to help funnel away excess rain water. ☔️

I love in the beginning when Olive made sure she photobombed you🤣 Nice tent! Since I, normally, stay anywhere I go for up to 2 weeks- I always setup my tent, which is WAY smaller than yours! PrettyDawg likes laying in it during the day, but she isn't much of a wanderer. The cats have their own tent. I like most of Bob's ideas. They use to be traditionally old school👏 You, sort of, glamp with others so it makes a difference also.

I had a tent where I did put some of my stuff in from van life I was camping at a campground for like a whole month and on the last day when it was time to go to get ready to go it started raining and everything was soaking wet and I did not want to take that tent down and stash it all in the wet because I wasn’t planning on camping anywhere that I was going to be able to lay it out to dry~so I had to throw it away . Then I went to Walmart and just bought another one just like it and I haven’t opened it up again.

Did u put it on a tarp, I think thats why you have the silver tarp,its suppose to bigger then the tent so u can have ur shoes n whtever on it.the tarp prevents rocks n sticks from tearing the tent. I've never put up one by myself neither cuz I'm 2 short and cant reach the top of the stakes , but I do have a 2 person tent too that I do need to learn to put up by myself too.🤔

Oh Jimmy you silly procrastinator.😂 2 man dome tents are so easy to put up alone. You should be able to put it back in the bag if not get a bigger bag from the thrift store. I suggest you get a small twin air mattress so you don't have to sleep on the ground. 🏕🌄
