It Makes no sense that my country of Barbados has made Rihanna a national hero already and Jamaica has made Bob wait this long ! Just sad. That man is the most famous Jamaican ever. People have come to Jamaica’s shores because of him. Bob is the gift that keeps on giving to Jamaica. 🇯🇲. He deserves the national hero recognition.

Not only Bob, but Louise Bennett as well. Bustamante and Norman Marley are not worthy of hero status, they were given those titles via political symbolism. Bustamante's persecution of Rastafarians was to destroy the spiritual movement of Black People on the Island on behalf of the british elites.

We need more people to put self aside and care for these things above everything. Looking forward to this movie. Happy birthday to the king like a good friend of mine use to say. Honestly, it is great that they made a movie about Bob Marley because he wasn't accepted by society because of racism. However, he changed that by conquering the world through Reggae Music with the number one slogon One Love. Yes, it going to be a great movie and it will go don't in history as one of the greatest masterpiece on the entire planet.

No, he wasn't accepted by society because of his religion and his ideas, not his race. He was 1/2 white. And Bob Marley didn't preach peace at all. He has a whole song called "War". It's the system that has flipped his message to be more fitting to the powers that be. Most of his material in the late 70s was revolutionary.

I.m yet to phantom what a marvel the Legend Robert Nester Marley, is and will always be. He is simply a mystery. To those who understood him, his value, and what he stood for, to humanity, his family, and the great Jamaica as a whole, especially through his music, and well articulated statements, will easily agree that Bob Marley is far above his music. He is an institution with a global followership. He is a phenomenon that will live and touch lives forever. One wish of a lifetime that i had was to meet the Legend himself, and express how much he meant and still means to me for the love of his music. If i say i love Bob Marley, it's an understatement. Thank God for Jamaica. The land of the greats. Bob Marley's household will remain forever blessed for his flag flying. Long Live Bob Marley. Long live Tuff Gong. Long live Jamaica. Long live One Love. Bob Marley is overdue for a national recognition. We anticipate this movie with all enthusiasm. With One Love from Nigeria.

I have been waiting for this movie for over 20 years when it was first discussed of making this movie. I can’t wait to take my son, who’s named after Bob (Marley) so he can learn more about the great man I named him after. ☝🏼 ❤️ 🌍

As a matter of fact, the first announcement that "filming will commence in April, 1984" was printed in the Hollywood Reporter. A large number of scripts were submitted to the Marley people, and all, including a brilliant one by Ron Shelton, were rejected. I know, because I advised a few of those cancelled projects. So it's been 40 years in the making, figuratively speaking. Roger Steffens, author of the "definitive" oral history of Bob called "So Much Things to Say."

It's delightful to see our 2-year-old boy's affection for Bob Marley! His musical journey began with "Stir It Up" just 10 hours after he was born, and his love for Bob Marley's music continues to grow. We're eagerly anticipating his first cinema experience, which will undoubtedly be centered around Bob Marley. Our love for him knows no bounds! From Spain 🇪🇸

I am really glad for this flim Mr. Marley is a wonderful legendary Icon. I am so grateful to his son and family that they decided to tell his story. My hope is that there will be other great stories like this told on flim. We have so many more heros whos stories have never been told that need to be told not just from Jamaica but throughtout the Caribbean Islands. Hopefully this wil start a trend of talking of the histories within the Caribbean Islands. I was born here in the states but both of my parents families are all from the west indies we don t talk about our history enough, our histories are bearly reference in school books we are apart of U.S history as well as world history as well , I just believe we should have dialogue on that more

No one is worthy to be a National Hero than Sir.BOB Marley the Film One Love goes very deep in the souls of us Jamaicans. Will never forget the One Love Concert held at the National Stadium .Sir BOB Marley brought the two Political leaders Michael Manley and Edward Seaga on stage and held their hands together. Both leaders and their Parties were bitter against each other. Today both Political parties are more peaceful. It was Sir BOB Marley 's One love Jamaica vision. That bore fruit in our Peaceful Elections over previous years.🌎🌏🌍🇯🇲❤️😃👏
