First glimpse of Bob Marley's mom, Feb 2024. It is quite refreshing to watch and confirm that Bob's mother was a Christian. Now, I am convinced about what I have always thought, his highly spiritual songs were born from a similiar upbringing! An awesome legacy ftom such humble beginnings. Thanks for 'One Love." The world has received the message of 'one love, one heart' from a tiny island nation of Jamaica.

I was flying back to the UK from norman manley airport in JA. I saw cedella booker in the adjacent Q. cedella was flying to the US. I could not resist going over to cedella and asking her to pose for my photo. cedella shot me a marvellous smile, put her hand on her hip and posed. I took my photo, thanked her and returned to my Q. whereupon people in the area said "who was that?". I proudly announced "that's bob Marley's mother". a lovely moment I will treasure for ever. May they both RIP!

Cedella Booker passed a few years now. I didn't accept this for a while, but I have now and would like to say thank you Lord for a great opportunity to get to know the mother, who revealed her son to me on a more intimate level. An interview of all interviews I've ever done, I will never forget. This is how you leave the earth with a legacy and fulfilling a purpose. That legacy lives on. The baby boy I carried in my stomach is now 15 years old. Blessed 2 be touched by your hand. Toyin Adekale

@esthercee81422 ай бұрын
And they surely did not read Mama’s book. The movie is too short & did not cover important aspects of his life. It’s clear that it was from Rita’s kids perspective being protective of their mother. It did hurt Bob that Rita cheated - he still looked after Rita’s kids & even though I’m a woman, it probably explains why he did not have what we might call “genuine” love anymore for women & chose to live alone. He bought a house for Rita where she lived with kids & a house for Cindy. Really sad life he lived 😢

Thank God for mothers. Mine has been in Heaven for 32 years now. Nestor, the Messenger's image is all over our island, Kaua'i. I just made a Lion of Judah since I am a Perez. Jah lives, and mahalo for bringing in your wonderful children!
