He spread a great message through his music and was a wonderful ambassador for Jamaica; however, his personal life negate him from rising to such status as a National Hero. A great tribute to Bob Marley. My mother is a black mexican. Eventhough I dont look like a black man, I know that I have some african in me. Black people in the south of Mexico where brough as slave from Senegal and Cabo Verde in XVI century to the New Spain. I grew up listening to Bob Marley. It is my dream to visit Kingstown one day. I love Jamaica, I love reggae music. Long live rastafarians. Long live black cimarrones from Oaxaca and Guerrero.
