Dear Markus, it is an honor for me to speak with the son of an American hero, and a hero of the African American population, for denouncing racism during the Vietnam War. My condolences on the passing of your father in 2019. I took a look at the KZbin video and read something about the book Thru This Eyes, which unfortunately has no Portuguese translation and I don't speak English fluently. Despite living in Brazil, I know a lot about the culture of the African American population. I greatly admire Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Rosa Parks, Angela Davis, Alice Walker, Jesse Owens, Fred Hampton, among others. I know I can't describe what it's like to suffer racial prejudice and I can't even imagine the deep pain that this act brings, but I sympathize with your father and with all people who suffer racial discrimination. A big hug for you and greetings from Brazil.
