He's got it all. Tone, facility, taste, expression, intonation, range, control, invention. Bravo.

Phew!!!!!!!!!!! Bob McChesney is the reigning Heavyweight Trombone Champion of the World. This video shows why-tone, feel and unmatched technique mark him as the greatest trombonist on the scene. I am privileged to know him and to have been hired by him--but let me still say one thing------what he does is scary!!! I am glad I'm not a trombone player. Kudos to you, Bob!!!!!!!!

Well - i think doodle tonguing was "developed " by Carl, but Bob took it to an even higher level. Hard to imagine, but i think he did. The finest chops in the world. Congratulations !!

Bob sounds great ... but he gives the impression that he was the one who first came up with 'doodle tonguing ... I am not sure about that ... didn't Carl Fontana precede him in mastering the technique ? ... regardless as I said Bob sounds great !
