Bob Nelson's Comedy is GREAT !!! He plays a "Perfect Dork" !!!

Bob Nelson is magnificent. Especially in this movie. He pulls of the Harpo character so well and does it without imitating him, but channeling him instead. Nelson is one of my favorites, and now I'm fortunate to work for the company that operates his comedy show. I haven't met with him yet, but when I do, I'm not going to know what to say. HaHa Very talented and gifted guy, and this it a wonderful film.

Yes, I think you could have done without the mug shot scene and included the full "empty your pockets" scene. The bit with the prosthetic leg always kills me. I like being a part of the small clique of people who love this movie. It's one of my two guilty pleasures; the other being "Hudson Hawk" with Bruce Willis. These are both so over-the-top campiness and absurdity, I can't help but love 'em.

Or, was it a lie and you are seeing a cryogenically preserved, thawed out, lyposuctioned, rack stretched out, plastic surgery patient with vocal chords reshaped, Curly Howard? Haahh, think about it. Could be all that but a clone, too?

pee wee herman was developed over a decade earlier. this was apparently "loosely based" on a couple of marx brothers movies. but that's the first thing that came to me as well, it has the contemporary feel of a pee wee herman movie with the many prop jokes.
