Won't lie, I'm pretty new to actually watching his work, only saw memes of him prior... But... Now... I won't lie, I'm a big fan of this man's talent as an artist. This one specifically... Feels very special, as so much of it reminds me of back home in the Portola and Truckee CA area, and I miss home so badly it's not even funny... 😭 Rest in Peace Bob Ross... I'm glad you're also a Christian, I honestly can't wait to see you in Heaven.

This is the first time I've ever spotted an edit in a Bob Ross episode. They must have stopped to fix the audio, because there's definitely a break in the edit when it cuts to the wide shot.

"We don´t make mistakes, just happy little accidents". Sounds nice, but if you don´t make mistakes, how can you learn from them?
@Hosenrolle18 жыл бұрын
I like to watch Bob Ross, don´t get me wrong (although his paintings and techniques are very repeating), but he never talks about real art, about the techniques of the old masters like Rubens etc. To paint is much more than "We make a tree with the edge of the brush". As I said, I like Bob Ross videos, but I would never paint, because that needs LOTS of years of learning and talent and studies of old paintings, and of course techniques. And there would be no joy for me to paint if I knew its a thing you don´t learn just by doing what someone else is doing. You don´t learn playing piano if you have a keyboard with glowing keys that shows you where you have to pull it down.
