@juniperlynn I know this comment is 6 years old, but I thought you might like to know that they are actually bringing this show back this year with Nic Hankins. You can see him in some videos here on this channel doing painting demonstrations just like Bob used to and he's VERY good and fun to watch. They did a recent live stream on Twitch a few weeks ago with Nic where they announced that they have filmed all of season 32 (picking up after season 31 where Bob left off) and I believe he said to expect it sometime in or around September of this year on PBS as usual. He even said that a number of the paintings he'll be doing for the season were designed by Bob in preparation for season 32 which he never got to do before he passed away. So some of the paintings will be Bob's designs and some will be original designs from the new presenter, Nic Hankins. Hope this news makes your day like it did mine, lol!

To me the most incredible thing about Bob was that, only six minutes into this, it already at that point looks like a totally awesome and beautiful completed painting.
