Greatness slowed down by injury. Yet still his impact was felt! Played beyond his size…True definition of a “Football Player” 🏈

I’m a Steelers fan and I can say Bob Sanders was one of the best tackling safeties I’ve ever seen
@quanthomas53393 жыл бұрын
Major reason why Peyton got his first ring. Sanders was 2nd to none when healthy at the safety position

Bob sanders should have won super bowl MVP

Either him or Kelvin Hayden. Hayden produced turning point of that game.

The only Colt I’ve ever wanted a real played-in jersey from, parents got me one for Christmas the year after super bowl 41 when I was a kid! Manning, Wayne, Harrison, Addai, freeney, Mathis, they all had energy, but sanders just brought the heat

I use to watch all the Colts games only because of Peyton Manning but with that being said I got lucky to see a gem like Bob Sanders. I quickly became a fan! You can talk about stats/longevity or whatever but I will always say Bob Sanders is the Greatest Safety I ever put my eyes on!
@claymac7895 Жыл бұрын
I don’t know that there’s ever been a defender who made more of an impact on the game than Sanders.

Barring injuries, The Bob Sanders would have gone down as one of the best safeties to ever play in the NFL!!!

@scottst1112 Жыл бұрын
Played equivalent to 2 games and 3 seasons of 8 contracted seasons and has, arguably, a HOF resume with legit accolades and moments to be inducted… Had he only rightfully received the Super Bowl MVP trophy, that resume would demand a legit case for a HOF induction.
@Ginga Жыл бұрын
I’ve never seen the majority of these plays. He was just a force. Would have had career numbers similar to the best in his era had he stayed healthy. Still, a couple All-Pro/Pro Bowl selections, DPOY and a key role in a Super Bowl shows you how special he was.

One of the best hard hitting safety below 6 feet.

And he was fucking YOKED
@scottst11123 жыл бұрын
One of the best over 6 feet as well. The left out on of his biggest hits on Matt Forte were you can literally see ripples, similar to an explosion, of the energy and force from the impact. Threw TE's around like slot receivers.

Bob Sanders get into the hall of Fame even though he has been in and out of injuries through his career as a player but he did accomplish a lot in a short span as a player but he also showed that he was a difference maker when he was on the field hall of Fame in my book and the last thing I'll say is the year my colts won the Superbowl was because of him coming back from injury the start of the playoffs One of the best to play the game and one more thing you never seen him get run over by nobody ever 5-8 and played like he was 6-4 at strong safety sorry y'all had to much to say about Bob Sanders and he's not the only one I can talk about on my teams defense good job Tony Dungy and making history with my colts
