I have loved this man since I was 17. Now 62. I still get emotional when I listen to him. He touches the soul.

Same numbers for me. First heard him in 1975, seen him 17x, and still listen to him today at 62 to bring back memories. He was Best song writer, and easily the Greatest LIve Rock + Roll performer in Music history. He paid his dues, and worked hard unlike musicians today, and handled his money wisely unlike other stars. He was a gigantic part of my life, and never be another like him. Rock + Roll never forgets.

Deborah, Sept 1958. Bob, a rock n roll, gospel. So we're the same age. Picked up on Bob his first hit. Actually, I listened b4 it was a "hit" whatever his first one was. All that memory power, has left me. But the music, 🎼 still remains. People, they come and go, but the music, 🎵 still remains. 🎗️

Started listening to Bob in the late sixties; I’m now sixty seven and I’m thankful for his amazing talent. My first concert I went to was in Johnson City, Tennessee in 1976, and I’ve been fortunate to see him a few more times since. As a musician he was one of my earliest influences and when I have an opportunity to sing a little karaoke I always do Turn The Page. Love ya Bob!

Bob Seger is a brilliant lyricist. He paid more dues than any rock star of that era having 8 albums out and ten years of trying to get accepted Nation wide. I got myself to Detroit for Live Bullet, Best concert I have ever had the pleasure of attending. I own every album and single he has ever put out, some no longer in print. He has written the anthems of my life and of countless others I am sure. I have travelled this journey with him since I first heard him on radio back in 69 and have attended his concerts since 75. I saw him in Toronto in 2015 and the man still puts on one hell of a show. No bells and whistles, just raw talented musicians putting on an incredible rock and roll show. A sold out crowd singing along to every song, electric energy that radiates right through you. I often wonder what gems he has tucked away in his library that we have not heard yet, maybe never will. His writing in my opinion is beyond compare....

Simply one of the best songs ever written. Period. Big props. He sounds in his '70's like he did 30+ years ago. Marvelous. In a world where no one plays instruments anymore, nor writes an actual 'album' full of meaningful lyrics and versatile songs-instead we need to hear a 'single' and multiple 'artists' collaborating for a year, along comes this gem. What a testament.

He has always shared with the Band and others around him. He has never given up on writing the words that penetrate through the people who have listened to the songs, and become a part of time and again share his life with every one who listens. I'm one of many who has been there to.

I listen to Bob because my parents we're fabulous and played him all the time. I would sneak his vinyls out of their music rack, sneak them up to my room, put them on my fisher-price record player and jam. They always caught me and I could never figure out how. It wasn't until I was grown up when I realized I was a four year old jumping on a kiddie trampoline, bouncing to the beat and singing. No one, NO ONE has more soul than this man. He is one of the artists where you can hear the first five notes in a song, get goosebumps, and say, "damn that is good music.". Thank you for that night at pine knob, bob... Where my friend's and I sat of the hill you're first song was roll me away, and be I bit cried. Then for the first time in years sang like a rock. So many memories were made with your songs playing in the background decade after decade in my life. Every single song that you sing takes me back to my childhood. It is the most special thing that you could have ever given anybody without ever knowing. Memories burnt into your mind, like it was yesterday the second one of your songs come on. Thank you and keep singing.

Had never heard this song until now. It's beautiful. From a legend. An homage to Glenn Frey? They were both from Detroit.
