Lost my dear friend Billy in June of 2022..I sure miss him...I loved it when he and I got on his Harley and went wherever the wind took us..we listened to Bob Seger a lot..I would wrap my arms around him..lay my head on his back and enjoy the moment. I hope he is waiting for me in heaven because I sure do miss him 😭😭😭

That is so true. I've been all over America on a Harley Davidson. I have not seen my daughter's mother in over 25 years. And our daughter will be 31 in April. However I see her in my mind, my dreams, and in other women's looks, and actions. And I still look for her in cars that I pass on the road, restraints, stores, and everywhere else I go. I probably will never see her again in this lifetime. But she will ALWAYS be there in my heart.

He never had throat cancer, that was just a rumor, he said in an interview. He took off 10+ years so not to miss out on his kids growing up and spending family time with them and his wife.

Well, if I pick an absolute favorite song that Bob Seger sings it would be “Turn the Page”. He wrote the words and then instructed Alto Reed to blow his horn and make the music! Such a loss for Bob and us when Alto Reed passed away. He was Bob’s best friend! #2 song is Against the Wind which I love listening to when I ride my Harley Davidson. Did you know that Bob Seger wrote the words to Turn the Page in 1972 and he then turned to Alto Reed and told him to blow his horn and make the music for Turn the Page. Alto Reed was Bob’s best friend and Bob was devastated when Alto passed away in 2020. Such an incredible loss!

I was born and raised in Toledo,Ohio..I am very proud to have been a buckeye although the most talent came from Michigan..it was just a few miles over the state line. Used to hear alot of stories about Bob Seger and Ted Nugent coming down to Toledo Sports Arena to do shows.. I just love Bob Seger’s music catalog. He just seems to get better with age. This story isn’t related to this song in particular, but it references Mr. Seger. I was working on the deck of a commercial fishing boat out of Chatham, MA. one day back in 2011. So, we were picking up a string of gillnets, and we had the satellite radio playing. Bob Seger’s “Against the Wind” came on, and the captain said “Boys, let’s keep the chatter down, for this is God singing”. I think that captain may be on to something 🤔

Can't believe how fast the years have gone by. I've been around for his whole career and watched as we've aged together. Loved this last album, and especially this song, which brings tears to my eyes every time.

My wife & I saw him 11/8/06 in Grand Rapids, Mi. He rocked. 12K seats sold out in 4 minutes. His new songs sounded great. The best thing about Bob is that he sings his songs from the heart and doesn't care what people think about him (he showed up on stage in a black t-shirt & blue jeans) It was a great show, I doubt if anybody was disappointed. He did comment though" Man, I sure feel 61 years old" towards the end of the show. Bob's always been one of my favorites, always will be.

My wife was ill a month or so ago... I rushed to the hospital, after changing from my work uniform into a a pair of shorts and a 'Bob Seger' motorcycle jersey. I have never heard so many compliments about Bob, other than screams at a concert! I first met him in '68.

I grew up with his eight track in the player and cruising up and down state street in Utah back in the 70s. Listening to main street cranked up real loud and just having fun. Just saw him on his 2019 final tour. It was my last wish because I am dying of cancer at 58 and he was the only one that I've ever wanted to see in concert. Thank you Bob Seger. And thank you for the memories.

For my love Bethwyn it has been 4 long years today since you died (11th October 1960 to 23rd. March 2011) i miss you every day our sons (one daughter in law) family and friends miss you .You made a impact where ever you went you were so full of life .and life is so cruel at times . I love you Beth and did from the first time i met you at my cousins (Kaylene ,she still says i stole her friend from her) and i knew you were the one for me and you felt the same way i love and miss you you Beth...Been just over 11 years you now have four wonderful gran children, always missed by us all love to you always .Still miss you Beth love you always . Eleven years have gone by life is not fair at times . Just passed what would have been our 44th wedding anniverisary on the 9 th February ,will soon be March 23rd . and i can't believe that it has been 13 years since you died. I saw Bob Seger on May 25, 2019. I never dreamed I would get to see him. Bob and his band was sensational! This is one of the best sounding concerts ever. I am so grateful to have seen him. fmlpa, you are sooooo right. To right, it seems like nobody sees or knows that anymore. Bob Segers "Real Love" is so real. I Loved His Music, when i was a teenager and i still do. My cousin and i missed his concert here in Missouri and i really hope he is making a huge come back. More people need to listen the words as well as the music, he sings from the heart. My very first concert, 3rd row seats in Denver in the 70's. Best concert ever when the sax player played on the 2 row balcony, I was afraid he would fall. I then attended Bob's farewell concert in Bozeman, Montana. What a difference in ticket price from the 70's to now, but worth it.
