Bob West (Voice of Barney 1988-2001) Expresses Interest In Returning For The New Movie

Bob, thanks for making kids like me in the late 80's and up happy. I wish Barny was real. You made me very happy doing his voice on PBS all those years, but I think you should've stayed on the show. Also, I think PBS needs to be made great again. They need to bring back all the old episodes of barny. I am listening to old episodes of Barny to relive the years, and because I love how you did Barny's voice, and I love the songs. I wish you had made an album with just Barny singing the songs by himself!

I want him to reprise the voice of Barney, PERIOD! Not just for the new movie. But for the entire franchise in general. And it would be awesome if David Joyner could reprise the role of costume performer.

That was very interesting Bob West is number one on this list because he is probably the best voice for the character with Dean wendt being second even though his voice could be a little bit nasally at times which I don't mind because this is something that I grew up from the HIT Entertainment era like the park and the Caboose and for three and four Duncan Brannan and Tim Dever even though Duncan is a pretty good voice actor for Barney but in most Home Videos we even really hear him as a singer in these types of Home Videos while Tim Dever still does The Voice of Barney and I am completely fine with that even though Duncan had give him a higher pitch while Tim Dever give him a a little bit of a lower pitch and I'm completely fine if there are almost a little bit similar so yeah I have been seeing some videos about the new upcoming live-action Barney movie and I just hope what plot it's just going to take but I might have to wait and see until a teaser poster shows up sometime in the future it might get here this year or just next year because it would be an excellent honor to bring back one of my all-time favorite children shows of all time
