I don't understand how Master Replicas used the wrong helmet from the archive. On one hand it's kind of cool to own a replica of the PrePro 3 helmet, since it's so uncommon compared to screen accurate ESB replicas. The problem with the Master Replica helmet being a PrePro replica is it was never advertised as such.

I grabbed the Black series one for cosplay year ago and its quite impressive. I actually got the death watch version first so I knew what to expect ,I do have to wonder how any Mando sees through that view finder despite how cool it looks its really hard to focus on it when its flipped down . least for me it is .

I have the Black Series Boba Fett helmet, and I think it’s perfect! Unlike the Vader helmet, paying the extra money for the Boba helmet just wouldn’t make sense.

Better accuracy, accurate shape and colors, better proportions, so many reasons to pay more, just not for MR, efx is off an actual esb instead of a pre pro, plus dented helmet makes the best Boba helmets with insane accuracy, they even got ahold of parts to make everything as accurate as possible, well worth it for accuracy and detail, they are amazing.

Damn that's pretty great! I've always sort of regretted my MR Fett purchase back in the day because of the visor and shape (sides vertical not as flaring as the ESB buckethead version), and this Hasbro one looks great in that respect. Also the colours seem more ESB while the MT maybe a bit more RotJ. Oh I wore the original ESB version when I visited the archives many years back which was super cool. Will have to see how these compare to the EFX! Thanks for the review.

MR colors are more accurate, and both have misshaped visors, they are missing the wave and the helmets both should flare out. In terms of shape Black series ears are to thick, and the rangefinder is short, also visor is slightly to thick. Makes for an amazing repaint into rotj helmet with replaced ears, or even the same ears. Also, visor is tinted the wrong color. Still, probably the best Boba helmet for price and looks great.

I had the MR one and HATED it because they screwed up the visor. That makes it junk, in my book. The EFX one is the one to get if you want perfect. But for the money, The Black Series is the bomb! Plus, it has an interior.

4:10 The visor is the most important thing to me. It immediately looks authentic when it's slimmer and sharper. Just looks like a toy when it's too fat.

Within 5 minutes out of the box, the visor was scratched, will replace it eventually. I also added padding to the inside, rather than the "hard hat" adjuster on the inside.

That's a great looking Boba Fett helmet! Much better than Black Series Darth Vader helmet. I wonder why Vader's helmet and mask are so impossible to make look right, unless you pay a couple of thousand dollars for it.? I wish there had been something like that in my childhood in the 80s in Finland. My Darth Vader mask was a black ski mask and sunglasses..

I think the olive green on the Hasbro one is more accurate.

If you look at ESB it is a more drab green color and not as vibrant as the Master Replica version, which may be modeled on the ROTJ coloring.

Bs is well worth the price, efx still is the most accurate esb helmet not fan made stills though, and dented helmet is where the most accurate are made by fans.

I dressed up as Boba Fett for Halloween when I was around 4 or 5, and ever since I have been a huge fan of Star Wars and Boba is my favorite character out of all of them. I just recently watched all of the 11 movies plus The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, and they made me interested in getting another Boba costume except it would be the big boy version of course. 😂 This helmet is speaking to me.

Actually the paint on black series is more acurate. Everyone thinks boba fett is green because of remastering tge movie but boba fett is actually a field grey.

Bottom line is that the MR version is made of fibreglass vs cheap plastic for the Hasbro. That alone is worth the extra $$. Plastic does not age well.

...one drop of that fiberglass onto a hard surface, and your comment will be the thing that doesn't age well. The MR with it's crooked visor is trash with a nice paint job.

Neither of these are accurately shaped, and bs has horrid colors, the MR is also a pre pro helmet painted as esb, so at least it has that going for it as that make sit basically pre pro 3 which is rarely talked about, bs is just flat out wrong for esb, and closest to rotj hero with some inaccuracy still with the short rangefinder that is to wide and the thick ear pieces. Bs is still at least worth the money though, mr is resold at stupid prices.

MR is rotj and the BS is esb movie. Are different colors

Nope, both are trying to be esb, MR has more accurate colors, BS main green is kind of like RoTJ hero green, both are also misshaped, MR is a pre pro, and BS was made symmetrical and reshaped to be different, both lack the flare at the bottom of the helmet and the wave at the top. Bs also has a short range finder with the ears being to thick. Still, Bs is well worth the money, especially due to the ludicrous price people resell Bs at.
