Very Super cool that you kept the wild buck in the water for the release. It can be tricky some times to tell the difference which is why I try to treat every catch like its the best fish I ever caught. This way it's not the last fish I ever Catch ... Great Video Boys

Small stream years ago. Several of us fishing a hole jammed with steelhead that wouldn't bite. Four dead suckers laying on the bank. Guy walked up and asked what they were biting on. My friend said, deadpan "Sucker guts". Dude cuts one open, puts some on a hook and casts out. We're doing everything to keep from laughing. Couldn't believe he fell for it. Rod goes bendo, we all look at one another stunned as he lands a big bright fish.

@@johnwoods1688 I caught three fish this year and fished idk how many hours but hundreds. Big rivers, little creeks, everything in between. Fished every presentation I knew. There was only one time I felt like I left fish in the river and that was at a small stream that I’m sure you’ve fished and know if you live by kelso. Cause I could literally see them in the log jams but they wouldn’t take.

@@jamestobin4849 Tokul creek had been shut down for 4 years due to environmental lawsuit. I expected very little this year with it open. I walked up and down that creek for hours just looking for fish. Finally started fishing and it was fabulous. I only fished the creek 6 times this year and brought home 10. I’m not complaining. A lot of others got shut down and my home waters got reopened. It was a great feeling

So do Chrome Steelheads taste better? It seems the opposite for regular trout the really nice colored up ones typically have better meat and the silver chromed out ones don't taste as good in my experience
