They use a white hair model to give the impression of old age, but her eyes and neck look fairly defined. Either she is in her very early 50 or she s had a facelift, .and some fillers too.
@9988ScooterGirl4 жыл бұрын
Balcon Frances That's not neccessarily true. When it comes to the neck it's all down to the platysma muscle, the only muscle in the body to which the skin is attached. In some women that sheath of muscle stays taut and smooth until quite an advanced age (i.e. Audrey Hepburn) while in others it splits, cords and sags (i.e Candice Bergen). It's all down to genetics. As for this lady being in her early fifties? Crikey. I hope not. She has fabulous bones which helps keep the facial skin drawn taut but the looseness of her eyelids says early to mid sixties at least.
Gorgeous model - cracks me up how she acts so surprised about each step of make up like she has never experienced it or seen herself in makeup before !!! Come on! How gullible do you all think we are !!!

I am 48 and love being me right now..don't want to look younger, just healthy. This woman is so naturally beautiful but this whole message is straight out of the 1950s...get with the times, Bobbi Brown!! Also, she comes across almost as simple-minded with that fake fascination at the most basic of make up tips and I am sure she is an intelligent woman...stop dumbing women down. Fail!
@evep56893 жыл бұрын
Just healthy? Doesn't it mean younger anyway? Makeup is playful cheating, putting make up on is cheating something that you are not naturally. Should unhealthy looking women, happy to look that way feel insulted because you hide your own "unhealthy" looks with make up? Stop insulting people and feel offended because other women/brands don't actively represents your views and opinions on things. Brands use euphemism all the time in their videos, "fresh faced", the thing you don't look anymore when you age, "make up for mature skin" what does that mean if it's not make up for looking younger? Most women I know in their forties and fifties who wear makeup want the makeup to make them look younger, they may not use that word all the time but that's what they mean. It's not always about societal pressure (of course I am aware ageism is a thing), it can be more complicated than that, like dealing with time passing, nostalgia for who we used to be (inside) etc.. Don't be rude and defensive all of the time, people are not just symbols they are people. Be kind, being offended by other people's lack of wokeness does not kill, I promise.

I just subscribe to see beautiful women this age, and how to apply cosmetics with a better result. Like many comments, I also am disillusioned by the reaction of the older woman. It does not inspire confidence in the makeup artist or Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. I am not saying the cosmetics aren’t top notch, I’m just saying this youtube poorly inspires confidence in Bobbi Brown Cosmetics 🤷🏻♀️ I watched this episode because it was the most recent and up to date from Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. I’m older, but I’ve worn makeup since the 70’s. If you want to take a woman my age that is brand new to cosmetics, that would be very interesting to see. If you want to use a seasoned cosmetic user, be honest. If you want to correct mistakes and improve her makeup habits, that would be more genuine than this. I hope there are more satisfying videos here. I’ll check out more of them 👍🏻

GradKat there is difference! The makeup she did was not to look like a instagrammer it was to uplift the eyes and make the skin glow.. it has to be subtle to be natural. To look younger, a no makeup makeup look is your best bet. Makeup ages most women in general. When I watch Miss USA and all the other pageants, all that glam makeup they look mid to late twenties and some of them are as young as 19. When the makeup is off they look their age or younger. When mature skin women put on makeup especially bold lips and eyeshadow, it really ages them 10 years. And don't use matte foundation for mature skin women, that really ages you. Pin point conceal and if you need to use a foundation, a hydrating one is more flattering and healthy glow looking. Lip gloss is youthful compared to lipsticks. Don't make your brows too harsh/strong because that also ages a person.

Why do "professional" makeup artists place concealer over top of the puffy, "bags" under the eyes? That was one of the first things we learned in makeup artistry school! It only makes the puffiness stand out more! Concealer/brightener should be applied only to the dark areas under the eyes, and this needs to be done using a small brush so that the product can be placed precisely where needed, and then blended, patted out with your finger (or sponge). You want to be careful not to get concealer onto the puffy area.
@jadedgirl373 жыл бұрын
So what do you recommend to conceal Eye bags?
@michellekelly29373 жыл бұрын
@@jadedgirl37 Take a look at a video done by Wayne Goss, "How to make eye bags vanish in seconds! Full Demo." It's an older video, so you may need to turn up the volume. He uses a small angle brush to apply the concealer. I prefer to use a brush similar to a lip brush. (You can use a clean lip brush!) Use whatever works for you as long as you are able to apply the product exactly where you need it to go without getting product onto the puffy area. You need a precise application. Blend/pat with the tip of your baby finger, and set with a tiny amount of loose powder (I like the Nars Light Reflecting Loose Powder for under the eyes). Hope this helps! : )

Me parecen muy buenos estos pruductos. Mi amiga me regalo unos hace mucho tiempo. Y guarde dinero para comprarlos por mucho tiempo porque son muy caros para mí. Y cuando mi presupuesto estaba logrado fui a Macy's y cuando llegue al mostrador. No me atendieron.

So how do you make the concealer stay without creasing into my wrinkels under my eyes?? Tried almost everything 😅🙈 with less product, setting Spray on a sponge, setting Powder (horrible!)...

We're glad you reached out and we're happy to offer tips, lasferta. Proper under-eye hydration is key. Our popular Vitamin Enriched Eye Base is the perfect all-in-one eye cream and primer offering just the right amount of moisture to ensure a smooth look and finish. If needed, you may also try setting your concealer with a light dusting of powder, such as our Sheer Finish Loose Powder. Learn more on each here and also chat further with an online Bobbi Artist for more tips: bit.ly/BBVitEnrichedEyeBase and bit.ly/BBrwnPowderMPP.
