One of the things I appreciate about Bobbi Brown cosmetics is her functional and realistic approach to cosmetics. Addressing the concerns of those of us over in 40+ age range is important. The most useful products in the demo are the long wear shadow cream stick, which doubles as a primer base, shadow & liner, and the foundation stick (concealer and foundation), they are portable, easy to use, and a multi-use product. Love the gel liners but even me, a brunette, wouldn't use a black liner. Dark brown on top, and a medium brown on bottom. It still defines, but is not as harsh. I was a huge fan of the smokey eye, but the second I crossed the Rubicon at 45, it no longer worked for me. I found it aging (on me, your milage may vary). The only thing lacking is a dedicated minimum SPF 50, which everyone needs to properly protect their skin from the sun and premature aging. The tiny amount of Primer + Radiance used in the demo is not enough for SPF protection.

Face tonic, serum, eye cream, primer radiance.....nonsense! My guess is those products are full of fragrance which your skin will hate! The only thing necessary in the morning to hydrate your skin is a fragrance free moisturizer that can be purchased at the drugstore! Watch dermatologist Dr. Dray for practical, affordable skin care advice!
@msr1116

Well, Bobbi Brown is a high end line sold in stores catering to the wealthy. Aside from that, some of products listed are not even necessary and others I'm sure have dupes at much cheaper prices. These videos are sales pitches, nothing more.

Love this!! I’ve followed you for years now & the best tip for me was putting the black or deep brown liner into the top lash line. It makes a huge difference especially for us natural blondes that have very light eyelashes. Even if I’m wearing “no make up” I do that, a bit of mascara, brows, tinted face cream & blush. It takes 5 minutes top & I have a “I woke up like this” look! If I have a few more minutes I add bronzer & highlighter. I use a cream highlighter as well. My skin is excessively dry, (as a teen I wore Vaseline at night!) so I’m definitely going to try the beauty water as a first step!

Tightlining is singularly the best technique for my small-ish almond-shaped hooded eyes. I discovered the trick while reading through some really outdated issues of Allure magazine and wondered why I'd never knew of it before----and I've read fashion magazines and makeup books since the 1970s!

I feel she is very educated and I love her passion and knowledge. The thing that I had a hard time with, was her saying if the color doesn't match your neck you have the wrong color. I've found that in the summer people are not putting spf in their full body skin care routine and only protecting the face. so face and body are 2 different colors. Also people with larger faces or strong bone structure can have a lighter neck than both face and body.

If you buy products that have a balanced pH you can clean your face at any time. la roche posay produce quality products with thermal Springwater that is the correct pH.I’m not advertising them, it’s just what I use and I found out about them through a dermatologist. I started modelling age 22 but didn’t actually take care of my skin until I was in my 40s! My confidence increased from better skin not from being told I was photogenic 😂 My favourite Bobby Brown product is the bisque concealer!

so pretty - I never can make up my mind about what the differences are really between Stonestreet and Medium.
@bobbibrown
@bobbibrown Жыл бұрын
We're here for you, Joelle! Most often, the Medium and Stonestreet shades in our Bronzing Powder are recommended for light to medium skin tones. The Medium is a reddish brown and ideal for those that burn and then tan. The Stonestreet is more neutral, ideal for those that get a couple shades deeper with a bit of sun, but their tan is not reddish brown or golden brown, it's truly neutral. We hope this helps and if you have additional questions, our online Artists are standing by to assist further at bobbibrown.com. They'd love to hear from you!

I really like the way the eye liner looks. I am in my 60s but look good and like to compliment my eyes. What is the best way to do the upper water line without poking myself in the eye. I use a magnifying mirror.
@bobbibrown
@bobbibrown 3 жыл бұрын
We're glad you asked, Elizabeth. We recommend using the Precise Ultra Fine Eyeliner Brush and our Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner. By lifting your chin and looking down into your magnifying mirror, the inner rim of your upper lashline will be more visible. Hold the brush horizontally and stroke sideways so the brush bristles are flat and soft, rather than using the tip. View these best-sellers here: bit.ly/BBEyelinerMPP. For additional application tips, to complete your eye look, we invite you to chat live with our online Bobbi Brown Artists. Connect here: bit.ly/BBLCConnectUS. They're standing by to assist!

Great video! I used the Art stick with face brush (from 5 minute makeup video) instead of pot rouge. I noticed since I put powder on first, a tiny clump formed that I had to smooth out with my fingertip. Any pro tip to get a more even finish?

We're so glad you liked it, Thomas! Try leaving your cheek area powder-free - since the cheeks are not normally oily. If you prefer to use powder, try adding a more sheer application or using a richer moisturizer underneath in this area. We hope these tips help you achieve a smoother finish! Our online Bobbi Brown Artists are always happy to help with additional tips here: bit.ly/BobbiBLiveChatUS.

Wow, Is that cream blush doesn't ruin your complexion on top of the powder?

Very pretty. I really have a hard time with eye liner. Do you put the top liner on top of your lashes or under them. I am 77 year old and have silver hair. I am have dark skin, I have some Indian blood and it shows in my complexion. What color of eye shower would you recommend, my eyes are green? Where can I buy this makeup?

Hi Bonnie, thanks for reaching out! For your age, skin tone, and eye color, we recommend applying Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner (bbrwn.co/2PDrLA0) in the shade Black Ink with the Ultra Fine Eyeliner Brush (bbrwn.co/2NJTw7x) onto the top of your lashes and not on your waterline. This will open up the eye and give a more enlarged look. For eyeshadow, we recommend applying Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick (bit.ly/BBLWCreamShad) in Dusty Mauve to the lids of your eyes and Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick in Goldstone to your inner corner and brow bone for a brightening effect. You may blend these shades in an upwards motion using your pointer finger for a subtle look. For more personalized recommendations, we invite you to head to bbrwn.co/3olyVaP to schedule a free Virtual Consultation with a Bobbi Brown Artist.
