Hi B & B! I just wanted to thank you guys for all the great info you gave me over the past year ( since I found you). I had TKR last week, 5 days ago , and am doing better than ever! About 75% of my successful recovery is due to all the preliminary work I did ,after watching your videos on getting ready for TKR surgery. I followed them diligently , then knew what I'd be facing during surgery( once again , thanks to you guys). Now I just watched your video (s) about the biggest mistakes people make AFTER this surgery, and found a lot MORE info regarding this! You guys are the best!! And you make me laugh, which we all know just AIDS IN THE HEALING PROCESS...So keep up the awesome work and know that you've helped change someone's life for the better😊

I have made these in the past. My PT told me about them. I did PT in December and my insurance paid everything. Now it's January and I need one more round of PT. Then I'm on my own. My doctor did say before I found out about the insurance I could do my PT at home. I have everything I need here. Even a hand pedal bike and the balls I need. The only machine I used at PT was peddling with my hands. I have back problems so almost everything is sitting up, laying down or standing. I have my rubber cord for my pull exercises. I'm set up for home and will save about a thousand dollars. I priced the ice packs for the back. Not cheap at all. Glad I found these guys.

My Florida Blue OTC benefit catalog had an 8 inch English ice pack that I invested in. It wasn't very expensive but it really was so invaluable with the inflammation in both of my hands. I fell on both hands four years ago and had severe damage and some fingers. The trigger fingers from hell all the time. So we're trying to address it more tomorrow. But I'm looking at this to see how what you're suggesting works also. Thank you so much for all that you are doing to help us keep from accidentally killing ourselves. That is a blessing.

Thanks Bob and Brad. Looks like a great thing to try. They look like those would mold better to your body. I am recovering from knee replacement surgery and the surgeon changed around my pain meds and how much - etc and doesn't seem to want to work with me at all on what pain meds that I have taken that helped before surgery. It has been a rather disrespectful situation with me and my ortho Dr/ surgeon right now. I never experienced that before.

Tip for those without someone to hold open the bag for them: Find a bowl or cup with a similar circumference as the opening at the top of the bag. Place the bottom of the open bag inside the cup, and fold the opening of the bag over the lip. This holds the bag open and keeps the zipper part of the bag clean (not so important for this usage).

Good morning! Great tips guys! Whenever I use the frozen ice in a styrofoam cup, I always rub a bit of coconut oil on the area I'll be icing, first. Then I get a plastic bag of any type (I recycle the plastic grocery bags ) and put the cup inside with the bag tight against the bare ice. This way, it will collect the resulting melted water and will slide easily over the area your treating! If I have a microfiber cloth handy, I'll wrap that around the cup BEFORE I put it in the bag. These absorb water REALLY well and are not too bulky.

I use gel packs to keep my fhead cool when outside in summer. I get miserable in hot humid weather. Everything below the neck is OK. But my face turns beet red & makes me miserable. People think Im having a stroke or something awful. I thought losing weight would help but it didnt. I lost 60 lbs 8 years ago (keto & it has stayed off) & Im just as miserable in summer as I ever was. I like to put several of the packs in my backpack & change them out as I work or bike or exercise. With this trick I can keep as many as I have room in the freezer for. Thanks guys!
