Tramadol is a prescription drug. It does work for the pain. But hard to get lately. If anyone has this problem and can't get any, then I suggest getting some high quality red Kratom. It is legal in most places. Got to the local head shop or, better yet, order online. @@kristihigginbotham7083

@Terry Lee. Does this sound like frozen shoulder to you? I dont have any pain at all unless i move it. Can this still be frozen shoulder even if it has never ever once bothered me but only hurts with movement when i get to the max range of motion i can produce? My range of motion has been getting more and more limited but it doesnt ever hurt until i move it to my max range of motion. If i move within that it doesnt hurt if that makes sense. This video states that in the freezing stage theres pain in the shoulder even without movement. Ive never ever had any pain in my shoulder or any pain without movement. I feel it in the biceps (not shoulder) and its only with movement. if i dont move or move within my range of motion i dont hav pain until i reach my max range of motion which like i said is getting more and more limited. Could this all still be frozen shoulder?

Thank you so much for your videos. I have had a separated hip and also recovered from open heart surgery and I would rate the pain from frozen shoulder JUST under the threshold of pain from those two. As a golfer when I had FS in my right side I couldn't fully swing a golf club for nearly 8 years and now it has happened on my left shoulder and it takes icing the shoulder and taking a anti-inflammatory plus about 40 swings just to loosen it up to play. I did not like my physical therapist because I felt like she was just going through the motions for 45 minutes then receiving nearly a $300 bill.

Just got diagnosed with this. Started over summer with what felt like a very slight pulled muscle feeling when I'd reach by my head.. that was like july.. by September I noticed it wasn't better and slightly more painful when I'd reach but nothing bad. All of a sudden in december I'm having a hard time sleeping on that side and raising my arm hurts. January until now Feb 2.. I can't lift my arm or put it behind me! And it hurts/aches round the clock. Not fun

Believe it or not I have been dealing with both shoulders frozen at the same time. It's been 8 months now in which I've been in intensive therapy and steroid. Shots. I'm 95% back with left shoulder. The right shoulder is slower about 60%. It's been hell. My doctor said that it's extremely unusual to have both frozen at same time. Hopefully it never happens again.

I am going through both shoulders in extreme pain and unable to sleep - only on my back on the couch and am waking up every 1 - 2 hours in pain for over three months now. I have to put ice on my shoulders and sit up and move my arms around to loosen my shoulders up before I can lay down again. This often takes an hour or more. This is an extreme nightmare I never could have imagined but it does compare to the nine months of back pain I had before surgery - both very debilitating. I have not been anywhere except to the doctor who prescribed anti-inflammatory medication and told me that I'd have this for life - that there was no further treatment. I can barely function - I can barely hold a coffee cup and bring it up to drink - it often takes two hands. My tendons and nerves hurt as well - they seem pinched. I feel very crippled and debilitated. Besides that I lost 35 pounds and my rear end is so sensitive I can't sit more that a few minutes and I have to walk or lay down. I had overstretched my groin in May and still hadn't recovered when this hit me in August 2023 so even walking is a chore.

Should I keep using my shoulder normally during the freezing? It really hurts to do so but will it help keep mobility or will it damage something? I feel like I need to be in a sling or immobilize it for pain, but I’m worried that will make it worse. I pack boxes for a living and it’s really difficult, I’m taking one naproxen a day Monday through Friday but I don’t know if I should keep doing that! It is only way I can work!

Thank you! I have learned a lot of info I didn’t realize I wish I had known sooner. I was diagnosed over 10 years ago with “frozen shoulder” and told to just take Tylenol. I was given no other information at the time, and the way the dr said it, it seemed very simple and I didn’t realize I needed to ask questions. At this point I have shoulder pain and loss of motion. It happened very slowly, and one day I just realized I had lost so much range of motion. If I see a dr for the current state of my shoulder, and am under their care and supervision, of course, would it be possible that I could regain any range of motion before having to consider surgery, or has it been too long, and I just have to accept the loss of motion barring surgery?
@holmhelena

@@holmhelena Thank you for sharing that with me, about what your surgeon told you about possibly gaining some but not all range of motion from surgery. If you decide to go through with surgery, I’m wishing you the best. ☺️ For me, to gain back even a small bit of my lost range of motion would be tremendous. I think you’re right, as well, that Bob and Brad probably aren’t checking their comments. But there are so many videos and so many comments, I can see how they couldn’t keep up with them all.

I see that this happened to you a year ago. This is the stage that I am at now. Hope you got better. I am just hunkering down for the long haul and trying to manage the pain, especially at night. But being so painful, probably still the freezing stage even though it has been several months.

@@circa1890 It is MUCH better now. I would say that I am back to about 90% overall. It only hurts at night if I sleep on it "wrong" or for a long time. Range of motion is much improved, but not perfect yet. I was able to go to one massage therapist that specializes in things like frozen shoulder and he really gave it a good workout. Hurt like hell, but felt so good afterwards. He said to move it. So I have been doing stretching exercises and swimming which seems to have helped. Don't let it get stiffer from non-use. On the other hand, I would be careful about using it TOO hard. By chance, later on today I am going to see a PT about it. Other than that, I have just been doing things on my own and am happy to report good progress. Best of luck to you! One thing that I did use for the pain at times, was red Kratom. That helped me get through the tough times. Would take it once or twice a week just to take a break from the pain at night.
