I grew up with Ed and Faye. Met Norman at The house in Longview. I was just a youngin. Ed took me to the last race at riverside. Incredible times. Always wished Ed would have took me to go visit Norman. I think Norman was more of a hero to me than Anyone at the time. I saw Norman one more time at Ed’s retirement party. Wanted to talk to him so much more but I know his time there was short. I wish you could say hi to Faye for me. Listening to Norman was just like listening to Ed.

I got a crazy story about Bobby Allison, After a race in late 50’s -early 60s he was gifted a Rolex Milgauss , worth over $300,000 today. I spoke to him years ago. 2017-18, he said his brother in law brokered deals for him and he got paid 11-12k for 2 rolex watches. One being the milgauss, he name the date is inscribed on the back.
