Been watching drag racing since 1960 when sportsman racing had gas coupe and sedan classes. Soon after came modified eliminator with mostly blue collar racers in more familiar door slammer models we could relate to and afford! BRING BACK MODIFIED ELIMINATOR!!

the modified production classes were popular for quite a while. Then NHRA eliminated them. Many racers that I know were very disapointed.
