I think you are really good, I think as a sound engineer is a little dry, and know why you did that, so people can here your sticking and kick. I would have loved to here a little more of the overheads, or cymbals, just a smidgen, and hear more tone of your hi hat and EQ it so it softens, and is clear... remember, what you hear isn't always what's heard...I love you man... drummer to drummer, what you hear isn't always what gets recorded, even if in your earset sound is great, we can't hear what you hear in such a small room as your ear...I hope that makes sense to you...I think your great man... really... if you have any question about why I said this get back to me. I've seen a lot of drummers play this cover. This guy is the best. The key to this song is staying loose. You gotta groove with it and play fluid fills. Most drummers are way too tight. Especially with the Hi-Hat. I like how this dude stays in the pocket and supports the music with controlled technique. Good job man!

No it’s not if you’re focused on the right things... The role of a drummer is to support the band. Check out Jeff Porcaro of Toto. He almost never played fills... Played on many big records. Save the fills for your solo. If you’re given one. 🙌🏽
