Actually its for the album cover. Historically black artists in the 50s and early 60s had vague covers without their faces so companies could sell their products in white areas. Bobby's album was just the silouhette to sell in black communities because he sounded black but was white. A good example is Nat King Cole, he sings like a white guy (of the time), but is black.

In her final years, I would sing this for her at her bedside , at home, in the hospital, in the rehab... just her and me... my shadow. my everything. I"m all by myself now but... There is nothing I wouldn't do... No where I wouldn't go, No price I would not pay No beast I would not fight No Eternal Hell I would not suffer... for one more moment with my Shining Star... August 15, 1951-March 15, 2023 R.I.P. to the sweet R&B/Jazz voice, gone after a 6+ year illness. Always loved this tune as it takes you right back to when it came out, but never gets old. Celebrate Bobby's life by just listening to his legacy through the years. Very underrated IMO.

I read where he had been in decline after having a severe reaction to a group of antibiotics (fluoroquinolones), Levaquin, Cipro and Avelox, used to treat bacterial infections. The FDA continues to approve the use of these antibiotics, despite the dangers of tendon rupture and damage to the nervous system, stating the benefits outweigh the disadvantages. I am the same age as Mr. Caldwell was, have taken Levaquin before, but won't take it again. God rest his soul. He had one of a kind voice.
