A gem I recently discovered on another site. Two very different personalities and styles but they blend together wonderfully. Great chemistry and it seems they genuinely like each other. One sadly left us a half century ago but the other happily still with us as of 2024.

Two of the greatest singers ever. Very different in singing styles and voice quality but they blend flawlessly.

Seeing this again tonight is wonderful, I so remember the night it first aired... Bobby Darin was and still remains my favourite singer of all time.... So weird I agree Bobby saying that he would raise a family in 1973, young Dodd was 12 when Bobby passed. Gone far too soon but never ever forgotten... Remembered, missed & loved always RIP !!

Two great singers make this incredibly complicated medley sound like child's play...

They were great singing together what a treat. Pat always great, suave, but Bobby had a style and rawness to his voice that really drew me in, still miss him, thanks for this posting.

Brilliant! Two of my favourite singers abd how good was this medley. Alan Dell on one of his Sounds Easy progs chose a rarely heard track 'Playin' Tne Field' from an Andy Williams album.

I've been a Bobby Darin fan for many years and am now beginning to discover Pat Boone. Great singer and a hunk! He is every bit as confident as Darin too.

They wouldn't get on the same stage together today, we're so bitterly divided.

Sad but true, but they were both dedicated professionals and probably got along very well despite their philosophical differences.

All planned. Long in advance. Like Bruce Lee, Brandon Lee - and long before all of them - Mozart.

i wonder why when Pat Boone was young, had brown eyes, and getting older , became blues eyes.
@Xannika20085 жыл бұрын
I was wondering not realising also.. when older he has greenish, I suppose
@evelynesouchar55495 жыл бұрын
@@Xannika2008 Thank for your answer. but what does mean greenish.exactly. Usually when the people has green or blue eyes when they are young, with the time, becames dark.. My english is very poor. My google teacher din't told me.

I just know that in the two movies I've seen him in (in his younger days) and his album covers he has very green eyes. I don't know if they turned blue. It happens sometimes.
