More talent in his little finger than any modern day artist.. Bobby you left the party too early !!
@Kuklapolitan11 жыл бұрын
There was simply nothing this man couldn't do. He never read a note of music yet he composed and played instruments as though he was born to them. He not only did it all but he did them all with a perfection of a highly seasoned performer well beyond Darin's years. I thought him a cocky little three hit wonder when I first saw him back in the day but he has proved me embarrassingly wrong on every count. This man was a master of performance and talent.

Your mojo works on me Bobby. In 2008 no less. Oh man, went out and finally bought some decent speakers, with sub-woofers, for the internet, and went straight to youtube and Bobby Darin for the ceremonial first listen. What a thrill. Love you forever Bobby.

Bobby Darin= Musical genius
@timetowakeup6302 Жыл бұрын
He was a genius, not just musically. Academically, theatrically, musically, comically. The man was a powerhouse entertainer. Best of all time in my humble opinion.

Bobby Darin is the most unique versatile multi-talented performer this planet has ever seen, or likely to again. The guys rich talents are never ending, God gifted. Whatever Bobby did or touched was always done 1,000 percent, giving his all was second nature to him. What his fans gave to him Bobby gave back ten fold. This is awesome to watch over and over, amazing, brilliant, what a gifted talented man. I love his funny stuff too. Singers of today are lacking in polish of 50', 60's and 70's, they were real performers and entertainers then. Bobby is a genius, tops!!!!!
@scottydee5010 жыл бұрын
You are saying alot but I have to agree. The man could play anything he put his hands on and his orchestral arrangements were phenomenal. Just MHO of course but I don't think even Frank could touch him in his prime.
@timetowakeup6302 Жыл бұрын
@@scottydee50 Couldn’t agree more. Frank had talent, but he was not the overall entertainer nor the musician/songwriter Bobby was, and no where near as versatile. Darin was a complete powerhouse of a talent. He did it all and did it all so very well. Bobby was an outsider, although he was in the industry, if that makes sense. He didn’t play the game everyone else did. He was his own man and wouldn’t sacrifice his morals or his integrity. I believe that’s a big reason why he’s been mostly forgotten about today. The mainstream essentially pretends like he never existed. He wasn’t part of “The Club”.

I am over 70 years old and Bobby Darin is The most entertaining, talented and gifted person I have ever seen. I’ve seen Sinatra, Elvis, Nat King Cole, Crosby, and the list could go on and on. They were all great talented entertainers but Bobby Darin was head and shoulders above all others. Bobby was in a league of his own.
