You may not realize it but Medo has become a feature of your channel. Everytime he goes crazy it reminds me that time you said he was a weird dude and it makes me laugh.

I need to visit my old chess club and tell people "this is some serious analysis here, it's the real deal" and then see how long it takes them to notice Medo. It does help to remind me not to take chess or any sort of tough thinking too seriously.

What's the idea here? Well, you can't capture a dream squirrel if you don't chase it. Sometimes a brilliant attack begins with a sacrifice...of decorum.

Been playing chess for about 2 months consistently now, at the start I was more than mediocre, but now I've beaten many adults from around my school, even my own math teacher who beat me a few years back. Now that I'm graduating I'm thinking of dedicating more time to it in attempt to pursue a better understanding of the game. I love your content and it has helped me develop my game so much more than I could have on my own, thank you!

Thought, through being deeply inspired, to list some reasons why your channel and content really stands out from the bulk and mass of KZbin: - Fantastic balance between anecdotal and technical exposition, in a simple and easy-to-follow language - Easy, inspiring and captivating approach for a person like me who really doesn't understand Chess at all apart from the rules - Great and subtle humour - Your unassuming genuineness and humility; this channel really seems to be about what you, and so many other people, truly love and are passionate about, not yourself in the least, even though your knowledge and understanding are vast and profound. You seem to act merely as a vessel towards the beautiful game. No clickbaits, bogus, dodgy stuff. This is a golden quality to possess, especially in today's world. i can but bow in respect and adoration! Haven't played a game in years but feel like it would be the time to remedy that as soon as possible. Thank you very much, all the best and happy! §=)

Agadmator - Thank you for the clarification on the name pronunciation. Incidentally, just in case you comments were in response to my initial comment on another video, I was certainly not questioning you, as you are my #1 chess source! I just think it is odd and interesting how it is pronounced as I've heard other chess authorities say it the same way. It just seems like there are too many letters...but then I speak English, so if ever there was a language with too many letters, that is it! :) Keep up the great work!

10:03 move g4 to g5. Forces draw or better end game for white. Why did he resign the game?
@Audacitycs1
@Audacitycs1 6 жыл бұрын
In return if black captures the pawn with h6 pawn then capture that pawn with the king and that forces a draw because black king can't defend f7 pawn. If black pushes h6 pawn to h5 instead of capturing the pawn then move kind to gobble up f7 pawn and start pushing g5 pawn to queen. Yes black can have queen first but white will have queen with check on black king.
@Audacitycs1

I'm rated 1450 btw. So I'm not very experienced player but I can't see any way for black to win the game. Immature resign by grischuk imo

@hairjordan5603
@hairjordan5603 6 жыл бұрын
sdrtcacgnrjrc after black captures with his H6 pawn, and the white king captures back, the black king is too fast and will gobble up the white pawns on the queen side. White would also have to capture the pawn on F7 before he could get back in time

Looking at it again, black can always play H5 instead of taking the pawn -- the pawn on F7 can take it if it goes any further. Meanwhile H marches.
