Yea I agree. Klay is a legend and HOFer, but at this point in his career, he is no different than DLo where he will either score 25 points on 5 threes or score 0 points and brick everything. Getting JV allows AD to play the 4 and play free safety instead of playing the 5 and having to guard Centers as well as cleaning up all the mistakes from our bad perimeter defenders (DLo, Reaves, LBJ)

You have to remember they already have AD for the heavy lifting defensively, but this means he doesn't have to be glued to the paint or uae as much energy. This gives him a legit 5 man and another big body to play against guys like Jokic and Minnesota's bigs. He's a double-double big that can finish around the rim. It won't fix all their problems but it's a start.

@@justified004 I'm not saying that's what you're implying, but the problem is, AD was literally our entire defense(the only thing that made our defense decent) last season since he was a massive deterrent around the rim/paint. Even though it would be nice to lighten his defensive load, if you put him at the 4 and Jonas at the five, our defense in the paint/around the rim gets SEVERELY reduced as Jonas statistically has no defensive impact around the rim.

PG to the magic would be a fun little move. It could either mean very little in the grand scheme or it could help push the magic to be top 4-5 in the east and maybe get hot. But there’s no doubt the magic have good young talent. They just need a little push. A core of Paulo Wagner and PG with that core of guards is a pretty decent squad Pg to the sixers make sense from a high end talent angle. But as we’ve seen recently… top tier players matching up without a good team 1-10 in place doesn’t work anymore. Specifically in a league that is punishing those hard called by big contacts. PG would be better served to play with 2 young studs on rookie deals and a good supporting cast than have one superstar teammate and another good teammate but no solid role players. Especially since PG gets hurt a lot and so does embiid. We saw in Brooklyn what happens when you team up with a bad roster and one superstar has to carry the whole team while the other is hurt. If PG gets hurt with the magic they can still stay relevant. And they’re guys are younger and more resilient.

Sixers could sign Klay and Derozan, they would essentially have a “big 4”, you don’t have to rely on Embiid to give you 30 a night and Maxey could be more of a playmaker. You get a great mid range shooter in Demar and a great 3pt shooter in Klay, Embiid dominating the paint and Maxey running the floor, they would have guys that could get points all over the floor.
