A really great part of this is that each orchestral section is singing as close an approximation as they can get of the notes written for their instruments! Absolutely barking mad, but I love it.

Whooda thought there'd be that much singing talent in a group of instrumentalists? Wow! Bobby is multifaceted and so is the IPO.

Somehow this is how I imagine music in Heaven Stripping away all ego of technical ability, and giving a never-ending ability to make music together, in whatever form possible, according to our own musical imagination. Many, including the oldest most tired members of this orchestra, where brimming with joy, along with some bewildered faces! ehehe.

Why only 19.900+ views? This is amazing! Love Bobby, love the orchestra! They're having so much fun. All thumbs up! :)

Thank you for sharing this. Fun is not a crime but in my mother tongue the term for "classical music" means literally "serious music". If this was the case of many other languages, it would (partly) explain why this hilarious video has so few views instead of googllions it's worth: we forgot how to simply enjoy things like music:-)

THIS IS 999% DELIGHTFUL (+/- 3.1415968%!). It's along the lines of what you would expect to hear at an ANDRE RIEU (sp?) And his Johann Strauss Orchestra Concert! I've SEEN several of those on the PBS networks, AND they were GREAT, because he gets the audience involved, AND I don't mean by just getting them to dance, although THAT IS A GOOD PART OF IT! I would love to see/hear ALL of The Bobby McFerrin/IPO Concert! I'm going to look for it, now, 6:36 a.m!

When you thought solfege you learned from long ago is nothing but a useless excercise. Nope. Bobby McFerrin proved it is useful. Trust me. It is better to learn how solfege so that you can sing a musical piece without any instrument.
