Man, I first saw this video 22 YEARS ago on Video Soul (Donnie Simpson never hesitated to think outside of the box). Still, this is as fresh then as it was in the big 80s. The video isn't dated at all. You could show it now and young kids who don't anything about BM would think it was NEW. Oddly enough, when I first saw this it took me quite a while to put 2 and 2 together: that this was the same guy who did my favorite version of the Cosby Show theme song!

I felled in love as child for the first time when I saw a photo of a beautiful black boy in my geography school book and also a beautiful Chinese girl. I thought, I will have a black husband because they are so beautiful, and Chinese children because they look happy and smiling all the time . Then I grow up I realized that life doesn't work like that. :-) I had black boyfriends and Chinese friends. Life have thought me it is much safer and easier to just listen to his music when you find the one you love best. Don't worry be happy..... la, la. la.... Maybe in my next life I'll meet Bobby McFerrin and sing with him :-)...... I was very happy to see that he is still alive and looking stoning.

wow is this really the guy who singed don't worry be happy? this guy went from a deep voice in that song to sounding like a child at the end of this song and just a lighter voice period in this song. that's crazy he can sound so different in every song.

It's sad that people only know him for Don't Worry Be Happy, as great as that song is. I think he's easily one of the most respectable jazz vocalists alive today. But I know he's probably happy with what he achieved. He has a cult following who absolutely adores him, he's extremely respected in the right circles, and he's still making music his way, doing what he loves every day. It's not a bad life.
