This is officially the best thing I've ever heard.

My goodness this was incredible. That seamless 3 octave slide at 3:00... Wow!!!
@yuichituba Жыл бұрын
The 2 1/2 octave leap down at 3:45 that he does in a split second is also insanity. Absolutely love it!
@culperagent35513 жыл бұрын
Terrific. I worked with him years back in San Francisco, and he is the nicest, kindest person also. What a real musician and man.

This man's range and intonation is GODLY fuck

Bobby Mcferrin is one of my Favorite vocalists of all times, this dude has a 6 1/2 Octave vocal range, which is ridiculasly Mutantlike for a man.
@OscarRichardson14 жыл бұрын
Woaahhhhh that note on 3:03-3:04 is insane. So high, so pure and he's got a vibrato on it. WTF! Soo good.
@FrancoisLamouche16 жыл бұрын
crazyy, still cant stop watching since 2 months....

Hahaha! Bobby sounds like a CD by himself. In this one, he has the vocal, guitar, drums, bass and what sounds like sax. Amazing talent.

Holy crap, he blows me away every time. How is he so frickin' TALENTED?!
@Nubrium6916 жыл бұрын
ok...ppl...seriously. I bought this performance on DVD from Amazon. The entire audience participates (when he gets them to sing with him during other spontaneous songs) and applaudes after the song you see here and EVERY other song...they, like the other posters (who know about Bobby McFerrin), wait for him to finish. You shouldn't judge people simply because they don't act like you ....the DVD is titled "Spontaneous Inventions"

for me its RIGHT at 3:05, i giggle and have to rewind it over and over! this man is PURE. pure genuis, an emotional genuis musically, what better instrument to be in total control of. YOU
@72devilz15 жыл бұрын
This brings back memories from when I was an early teen seeing him as a special guest at several concerts at Columbia College in the mid 80's. That man is a pure vocal genius of improv!
@leozingy12 жыл бұрын
Love his smile at 3:06, cause he was obviously happy about nailing that 3 octave jump at 3:02... man, that's some minblowing vocal prowess.
@kameeleon312 жыл бұрын
The man is nearly WORSHIPFUL!! The pure embodiment of MUSIC!! No matter how much someone can Say they love music (even those who Play an istrument) this man makes the Music come out of HIM instead of some detached apperatus!! If Music were a woman, all others present to her a Valentine's Day Card. Bobby McFerrin... Sings her a Song.
@theshures15 жыл бұрын
I keep rewinding that bit! And then he smiles after like it even surprised HIM! hahaha LOVE it!

I just saw this wonderful man live, and had the extremely good fortune to be able to shake his hand and get a picture with him. He is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, obviously an extremely spiritual and musical man. It was the most fantastic concert I have ever seen, and if anyone out there ever has the chance to see him, you should immediately jump at it. But you knew that without me telling you, huh? :D

Just awesome! I am riveted every single time I see this and listen. He is just amazing - creating all this with nothing but his voice, no instruments, no partner, nothing.... He is a true artist and true hero. His pitch is so perfect and oh what freedom, and this great buildup and cooldown... Thank you so much for sharing!!! Yes, Bobby!
