I just discovered that I've been using Bobby pins wrong my entire life. 🤦♀️ Great video, explains a lot in what I've been doing with my updos.

This may be years old but SO helpful! I have sensory so I can feel it when hairstyles either sag or come loose which drives me insane. It actually prevents me from trying different hairstyles. I’m so happy for this information thank you!

It was mindblowing for me that with bobbypins, the wavy part woth toe goes under. Especialy that they are often decorated etc. on that side!

Great tutorial! Did you know there is no need to bend hairpins anymore? Just use Betty Pins, they are pre-bent and work great!
@Jamosophy6 жыл бұрын
Love the tutorial sam 😃😃 but i have 2 questions where did you get the bendable hair pins,and 2 where did you get this mannequin head ? Please respond thank you😁😊😁😊
@samvillahair6 жыл бұрын
Hey Jamison! Glad to see you're keeping your interest in hair. The bendable pins are the lightweight kind you find at most beauty supply stores. The heavier ones are the pins that are difficult to come by. Our friends at Tearsheet are great suppliers of pins and grips! yourtearsheets.com/ And this mannequin comes from our friends at Pivot Point ... the long hair mannequins can be quite expensive but they last a very long time. www.pivotpointshop.com/Hair_Categories/Educational/Madi-Hair-Mannequin We have our own mannequin coming out in the beginning of the year too that will be great for practicing long hair... it's being made by Pivot Point to our specifics.

I like these videos! I see why hairdressers have the worst toxicity issues the stuff they spray every day coats their lungs get absorbed through their skin...all these products are endocrine disrupters.

Unfortunately it's true... inhaling and touching products and color all day for years and years can take it's toll on us. Product and color companies are starting to move towards healthier ingredients now that information is becoming more available.
