I haf no idea who he was until I got the Jackson 5 Soulsation! 4-Disc Compilation set. It has a great explaination of the Jacksons' time at Motown. It talks a lot about Mr. Taylor! How he got to work with them at Motown first, before the hits. To get them trained and practiced before Berry Gordy came and changed creative direction with them. Bobby Was teaching them to be soul singers! Berry went to bubbkegum pop

I believe he stuck to Bobby like that because probably for the first time, he felt the love of a father. He saw something in Bobby he never saw in his father, his father didn't even want him calling him dad. I don't believe this was abuse. Bobby probably knew what was going on and try to do what he could to show him real love.
