I absolutely love your videos, Katie! It’s so inspiring to watch you work with such professionalism and dedication to your craft. I especially appreciate the way you thoroughly explain every step of the process so that even beginners can understand and learn. I had gotten my virgin black hair bleached earlier this year and subsequently suffered massive breakage, with most of the bleached hair falling out within just a few weeks - which was extremely disheartening. I wish I lived in Canada so I could get my hair done by you! Please keep making great content 👑

Only thing is if you’re able to explain more of the pigments that are in the toner and why you choose whatever color it is to get to the end result you’re shooting for. Color theory I guess. Having issues with that in school. ❤ you rock

man with tip i just spent $480 yesterday for a “bleach card” my hair was already light af it was just my regrowth and since i would get heavy highlights so the pieces that were dark all throughout need to be dyed as well. she used 6 volume on most to!!! 😫 10 & 15 on a few spots. the color i gave is gorgeousssss but legit half my hair is gone!!!! i’m so upset. i could bawl my eyes out but i don’t even have that energy. and the girl who did it had been doing it for 20 years, has her own salon. etc. and she didn’t even put it on the ends!!!? i don’t get wtf happened but i’m so sooooo upset
@zofijawitch2 жыл бұрын
If you watch this video, I guess that you had to know about possible damage,when you apply bleach on bleached hair already..? If yes, you shouldn’t be upset, at least - on her. So often I have clients, who want to go much lighter no matter what. I always explain about possible damage, but so often people start to care and realise only after the service.
@_sunchildd2 жыл бұрын
@@zofijawitch no she didn’t explain it would ruin my hair like so at all. if she did i obviously wouldn’t have done that 🤣 we’ve been prepping my hair for months so it was supposed to be as little damaging as possible. after it was all said and done she then said “yeah where it all broke off i had a feeling that was gonna happen” …. but legit didn’t mention that to me at ALL

Great job! I am only a little confused here. You basically put bleach on very blond ends and blond high light she already had. And I believe the bleach would sit on those blonds for at least one hour. Does cause any breakage at the end? Thanks
@josephhertzberg27342 ай бұрын
You could leave off of the ends inside the foil, pull the foils fully out when you are ready for the root application and then pull through the ends after root application. The roots are boosted by heat, and the ends are so porous they will move fast as well. Just different ways to do it, but she did say she was cutting of at least 2 inches

Love your work ! How long you consider it’s safe to leave the bleach on the hair ? Using low developer it will take longer and the fact it took you 4 hours .. also do you wash the first foils until the others are done ? In beauty school we were told not to brush upward since you can damage cuticles and hair is more susceptible to damage ? ❤
