I have since fixed the issue. It was a grounded out wire

Where was location of grounded out wire?

I rewired a complete bobcat, now that I know how easy it is, I would say start removing parts so you can access the harness and look for cut wires and or damage loom.

Mine keeps blowing fuses then ended up burning the computer and I had to get a new one. Now I’m afraid to hook back up until I fixture where the short is. We know what two wires and even removed the entire harness but can not find any wires that look like they are shorted. What a mess lol.

I think I put a computer in this one too years ago. They are great little machines but mine is costing quite a bit to keep going. It's in the shop now getting new pins for bobtach.

keith have no fire to half of fuse panel any ideas where to start looking

The only real way is to look at a wire schematic and see were power comes from. Always start with the free stuff like battery terminals, battery, alternator. Rule out the simple stuff.

Did they say where the bad wire was?
@precisionfilms37774 жыл бұрын
Actually no. They just said it was obvious when the cab was tilted. Im mad I didnt try it myself. You have a wire short?
@jumbo10694 жыл бұрын
Yeah got something going on in the wiring not allowing any electricity to the cab

Check your battery connections. Check all the fuses under the seat. I need more info. You could always post a video. Does it still start and run. What all doesnt work?

Try a 40 amp fuse
@SteveDoesEverything5 жыл бұрын
Don't put a larger fuse other than what it's rated for you'll end up melting some wires are causing a fire. What you have to do is get a wiring schematic and find out what that fuse feeds there's either schaffed wire somewhere that's grounding out and causing the fuse to blow. Or there's something aftermarket hooked up somewhere in the wiring harness that's pulling too many amps on that particular circuit. Probably not going to be an easy thing to do but you'll have to do some wire tracing hope this helps

I had it fixed. 2x to same shop. Leppo charged me 2x to fix it. Wire was grounding out. I could hsve fixed it myself. Paid over $600 total. Bs
