There’s a lot of garbage content on KZbin finding a seasoned tech that’s willing to share what they’ve learned is priceless. Thanks for the videos.

This is an awesome video. I very recently picked up a used 2014 Toolcat with traction control. The machine is ‘bogging’ when traction control is enabled or even at higher speeds when disabled. I’m going to take a look at my belt & tensioner setup & condition asap - thanks to your help!
@tetradgroup2 жыл бұрын
Check and clean sensor on front left axle for traction control. If the sensor is loose or the transaxle is loose in the frame the traction control will not work correctly, it will sense wheel slippage and apply the brakes to try to correct which could cause the engine to bogg.
@TheZigZiggy2 жыл бұрын
Thx for the vids 👍 Are there tensioner stop brackets like that one on the skid steers that need periodic adjustment?
@tetradgroup2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment and yes most of the skids will have a stop bracket. I did a video that explains the stop bracket and how it's adjusted.

Another great job, you make it look easy and working on my Bobcat a lot less intimidating. Wouldn't an operator hear that tensioner pulley start to fail before it broke like that?

Hi, a very good video. Thank you for posting. If I may ask, what is your background. You appear to be an expert on bobcat equipment. Are you involved with the company. I imagine the knowledge you have most of taking many years to acquire. Thank you.

@GCHG20142 жыл бұрын
I've heard people say that when these toolcats have this issue or can not start that there is no way to get it back to a shop to work on them. Site only service since they become immobile. Please straighten this out for me. Still town between this and a 4066r.
@tetradgroup2 жыл бұрын
Depends on the situation, any good flat bed driver whould be able to load it up and get to a shop. Depending on the failure it might be cheaper to just have a road tech do the repair.

Where is everyone even finding parts for these? i found the part number I need from Bobcat parts online (6814052), but parts availability looks like dealership only? i need a hose that's part hardline and rubber from the hydrostatic system. cant find anything for these ANY where.
@tetradgroup2 жыл бұрын
These are definitely one of Bobcat machines, most everything will have to come from the dealership, not much available aftermarket for these.
@hughjaynis91572 жыл бұрын
@@tetradgroup Dang, thanks for the response though! Thatd turn me away from a sale personally, no aftermarket support at all. Spent hours searching yesterday. Bummer.

Ours break down almost every year.. it’s like Cadillac it’s got great features but junking manufacturing.. our belt broke like that as well.. why not use a chain?? Or something better.. right now as we speak my hydraulics won’t work on the attachments. Before that, it was run away Diesel.. one problem after another.. I don’t recommend BobCat

Terrible design, if the battery runs down.....you need a damn crane to get to it?
