@OrkRule1 Hi. I work for a Bobcat dealer and would like to correct something. Bobcat did not invent the skid steer. A turkey farmer needed a machine to move turkey crap and talked to two brothers and they built a 3 wheeled contraption for the farmer. They then started a company building them and the Melroe manufacturing bought them out. Bobcat now is its own company but owned by Doosan. And they were started in 1958, if it really matters.

The weight on the 870 is 12,500 lbs. They cost $81,000 for a fully loaded version with SJC, ac/heat, air seat, radio, power bobtach, 2 spd, high flow option.

Good to see someone using a 4in1 combo bucket, I've been preaching about that for years.

I have 1/4 acre (75W X 120L) vacant lot in central Florida where my soil is basically soft white sand - it compacts well but is like butter for digging. The lot has a 2' dip in the center where i want to park a camper during summer when it rains a lot. I've never seen it flood but FEMA says it eventually will. I was wondering if a Bobcat alone could dig PUSH a deep trench around perimeter then grade push everything up to a plateau in the center back basically creating aggressive trenches and dips where i want plant some thorny bushes that love water. ideally looking to elevate a 50W x 60L plateau section by 3+ feet by PUSHING my sandy soil around without having to bring in fill dirt. Think it's possible and what would a job like this cost in labor alone with just a Bobcat and operator? I'd love to learn to operate a Bobcat.

@IronTapOuT try using that bucket in some american red clay or hard pan. Your tracks would just spin. Thats why we use heavy duty buckets with teeth. 4 in 1s will not last

I love the music on this video. If i can ever afford one of these I am so using this music.. :) I can't decide between John Deere and Bobcat...although the "bobcat advantage" videos on their website are quite convincing:)

Just got a T750. Big difference coming from a S185. Although S185 was cool to.

@realfluid First of all, disclaimer: I am not in any way, shape, or form affiliated with Bobcat or it's subsidiaries, nor have I ever been. Second: Bobcat invented the skid steer in 1959. John Deere started building theirs in 1996. Experience makes a difference, doesn't it?
