In the most open interview I've ever seen him do with a young woman named, "Martha", for MTV, Dylan said that "Shot of Love" and "Street Legal" (?)were his two albums that had no "history" as far as being able to be linked to other periods or styles of music that he'd been doing, so they weren't commercial successes, he thought, but he liked them a lot because he was doing what he felt to do and wanted to do.
