We have walked complete Berwick walls many times when visiting Northumberland. It is always a delight. The military museum is also interesting. Lots of castles in Northumberland as well. Great video!

I never knew Berwick was such a lovely place. Really love seeing all the different places you get to. It is helping me keep a note of all the places I want to visit. Also thank you so much for the many vlogs you both are putting out right now. I am thoroughly enjoying them all.

Yes I enjoyed it tyvm, was there just over a week ago, went to Go Outdoors too, more at the Tweedie side of Berwick South . Although part of Berwick we used to ask are you from Berwick North or Berwick South = Tweenies/English. They even have their own football Clubs. It’s changed a lot. Shopping is now more on the fringe, whereas before twice a week I would get the Bus 🚌 from Newcastle Haymarket because they had a canny little Market. I love the products from Berwick Chainbridge Honey 🍯 Farm and ironically we usually buy the products from the street vendor on Holy Island/Lindisfarne . Enjoyed it tyvm !

Bob’s comment about the jigsaw sort of bed, which still exist in several otherwise decent motorhomes, reminds me of the lack of quality that existed in cars some 3 decades or more ago. Some motorhomes still suffer from wrong materials being used for fittings, cracking showers floors and multiple piece beds …. an approach that high volume car manufacturers consigned to history over 30 years ago. Whilst motorhomes represent astonishing value compared to van based campers, the latter don’t seem to suffer from a last minute “make do approach to function”.

Good vlog as always, and you always give so much information about the places you visit. I’d definitely recommend bringing the car next time you come, then you can explore more of the area too. Burnmouth, Eyemouth, Coldingham and St Abbs all just north of the border are worthy of a visit. St Abbs is New Asgard, where the Avengers was filmed. The car park at B&M opens up at the back, so you’d almost certainly be able to park the motorhome there for future reference. That is also the other end of the town walls. Living in Newcastle we spent so much of our childhood on the Northumberland Coast, it’s a beautiful part of the country which gets overlooked with it being up North! My wife is from Berwick, so we regularly go up, but stay with family rather than take the caravan.

What a lovely place, I know of the history around that area, but I have never seen the place. Mind you I thought all of Scotland was like Glasgow until we went there.😁
