Another lovely video meander, the waterworks also was good, I hope my grammar and spellings was okay 😉 all of that water noise sent my waterworks into overdrive, nearly had a flood of my own. I can't believe that this was the second video that I have watched tonight mentioning the flood of 1952. Spooky. 👍🖖🏴🏴🏴🤔

Thanks for the walk up the gorge, I couldn’t go up because my other half is crippled with arthritis and can no longer walk that far, so once again thanks for the video. Looking forward to valley of Rocks video.👍👍👍

My mum and her siblings were in the flood. The devastation was awful. Just as the fire brigade pulled them out, my aunt looked back and the building they were in (they were in the attic at the end) was just a stilt holding the attic up. Everything else was destroyed. Two fishermen saved their lives, strangers they didn’t know. They saw the flood coming and ran into the first building they could, had they not gone into the building our family would not be here today. They were very fortunate.

It must have been truly terrible, you can see what the flood did, throwing huge boulders around like balloons.

@@BobEarnshawMoHo Not good then does this mean a change of plans for later in week if not sorted. Maybe someone could bring a genie to plug into.

Another beautiful day for being out and about : o ......... Just an interesting past history of this village : | ........ Say - are most of the people shown in the video native to the town and area ??? Or are they mostly tourists ??? : / ........ Say - what and why are there coins in the tree trunk ????? .......... I just love the rows of mom & pop shops : o ........ I have an idea - will it be feasible to talk to some of them and than post it on your channel ??? They can plug their shop and stuff in it - that could be the pitch you may need for them to agree to you videoing them ???? Plus - it would add an additional touch to your channel that would or will make your channel standout from the many others ???? Like I said - just an idea - a very good one may I add : ) .......... Perhaps - many other mom & pop shops will be calling upon you to come visit their village and shops to post their stuff for sale on your channel ???? ........ Peace on Earth : ) ........

Lots of questions! 😁 I guess most of the people we saw were tourists judging by the accents and different languages. No idea why people put coins in the tree, guess it's a good luck thing. Good idea about the shops. I did start talking to shops, some weren't very keen to be filmed, as they just worked there, I will keep that in mind.

At 7.25, on the whale exhibit, they made a spelling mistake "they play a unique and vital roll", should of course, be "role". That's disappointing, I expect educational materials to have correct spelling and grammar, and any writing to be proofread. I'd love to go on that walk up the gorge. It's nice that they've put picnic tables at the top, it looks a great place for a picnic (and a much needed rest!). It's a very attractive town. I'm going to see if a day trip there would be do-able. It's not far as the crow flies, but the Bristol Channel is in the way! The North Devon, and Somerset coastline, looks very close, from the beaches near us in South Wales! It's a shame there isn't a ferry. Thank you for sharing this with us.

You're welcome. I didn't spot that spelling mistake, there's a lot of it about!
