For a change, we take a bus ride into Scarborough, a trip on the Victorian Tramway down to the front, pint at King Richard III and a very fast boat ride on the Wave Rider.

Both the humans in this house spent many a holiday in Scarborough when they were young. These days they take me for day trips on a weekend during the winter mostly. It looks like you chose the right days to visit , the weather was just perfect. That speed boat trip looked fab no wonder you were smiling so much Bob.Thanks for sharing :D Teddy PS next time you go park on marine drive and walk along the seafront past the old beach huts to Scalby it is nice along that end and there is a narrow gauge train runs through the park from there.

We always get the tram back up ( as now we get the train), great video made me homesick , I will be going for a few weeks soon though. When you were in the harbour on the skyline across you may notice a big gap between buildings a few years ago the news was on live showing the cliffs erosion and a massive hotel just slid off the cliffs. just round from those cliffs is where Mum lives but hers are limestone ones. You didn't need to go back up the tram if you carried on walking to the end bus stop is under the bridge by the beach that dogs can go on :)

Great video when we was there a few weeks back we dus the coastal walk from the caravan site to Scarborough about 4.5 miles went on the tram up to town then got the bus back really good

Scarborough is a great base loads ti visit Whitby, Robin hoods bay , filey really liked filey seafront and bridlington and flambrough head lighthouse i sat in your seat at king Richard 111 pub lol

When available we use the bus all the time. Its better when its a double decker. The views over the countryside are so much better.

Scarborough was too busy for me much preferred Filey and again got the bus. Quite nice to be able to have a drink.

A guy who worked for me and lived in York once told me he had never been outside Yorkshire in his life. He said “why would I want to”. He was in his forties at the time. Unfortunately one day I had to send him on a job to Oldham. We made him a cup of Yorkshire tea when he got back. Your video of Scarborough reminded me of him and how nice and varied the York’s coast is, add in the Dales Moors castles and abbeys and you start to see why he said that. I still feel bad about sending him to Oldham and doubt it would change his opinion.

There is nothing wrong catching the bus as my wife is a bus driver. There very handy if used right. You have no idea what they have to put up with from very nice members of the public. Still it was another great vlog as usual.

There was a little bit as it went past the lighthouse earlier. Couldn't record too much sound as Radio 1 was on in the boat! Plus, there was a lot of wind noise.
