Note. I used a different prop than the one shown, which wasn't actually tightened up and was back to front! I've put on a 5045 now and for those who aren't sure, the blade or hub with the prop size on it should always be facing forward, doesn't matter if you are in tractor configuration, or pushed configuration!

you have the prop on backwards....it will fly like that but will have less thrust. nice build looking forward to the maiden ;)

Perhaps Bob's designed it to fly backwards 😁

It wasn't actually fitted, ie, not tightened up, but you are right, it was back to front. Didn't use that one and I have fitted a 5045 now with the prop size info on the blade facing forward, ie the right way and it absolutely screams, so much thrust as well. As people say there is no such thing as a 'pusher prop' it just has to be mounted the right way!

I DID SOMETHING SIMILAR, USING CARBON BOOMS AND BALSA TAIL.FLIES GREAT.

I'm just working on one with a single carbon boom, very short, lightweight and I left the dihedral in so it'll be a slow easy fly model and soarer.
